1) Situate the work (introduce the class and your project prompt, and the goals you have in completing the work); 2) Identify background information (the process of learning about material selection and manufacturing processes); 3) Define your final project (why this product, what overarching design decisions were made, how you designed it to be prototyped, what you learned by reverse engineering the product, etc.); and 4) Identify the takeaways (what you want the reader to recall, lessons learned, description of how you met your goals, etc.).
